It’s all in the name. Being born and raised in the Netherlands, it has always been a given for me that I would end up working in technique (in Dutch: techNIEK).

I have a vocational education and BSc in mechanical engineering which gives me a practical and analytic view on projects. Having gained experience in several fields, mainly food processing and maritime, gives me a broad understanding. With these skills and knowledge combined I can produce tailormade innovative solution to your problem. My expertise includes working with 3D software (Inventor and Solid Works), structural analyses and calculations and international standards.

Beginning of 2020 I decided it was time to fulfil another dream and to start life on the road. Working remotely means that I can work in an environment where I feel inspired and at peace, whilst fulfilling my passion of working as an engineer.

We are currently in Wellington, New Zealand.

We thought we would start af in New Zealand for a year but due to Covid-19 we stayed a bit longer. Our rough plan is to go to Australia after New Zealand. Then we want to go back home to see our friends and family again. But not for too long, because then we are planning to go to Canada and travel all the way to Patagonia. And after that.. who know.

One of the goals I have is to start my own craft beer brewery while traveling around the world.
